b'THE CARNEGIE CLUBN believe how much has been achieved in such a short space of time. This issue of Skibo \x1f ext year will be The Carnegie Clubs 30th (pearl) anniversary. It is barely possible to covers the development of two major projects that will open in time for the summer. The first of these is the Treehouse activities centre which marks a major advancement in our outdoor activities, incorporating 8,000-acres of the estate. The second is our Links Retreat, which includes two covered bays as well as Trackman technology designed for both seasoned golfers and beginners of any age.Its thanks to our owners, Ellis and Eve Short, that we are able to maintain The Carnegie 0 5 Clubs status as one of the worlds finest private members clubs. Today, its membership is truly international with 400 members from 35 different countries. They are served by a team of almost 300 staff who, between them, have notched up 1,200 years of service. This issue covers a wide range of subjects, each with a Skibo connection. We hope you find many of the articles interesting, and trust you will derive as much enjoyment from reading the magazine as we did compiling it.Peter Crome, Chairman www.carnegieclub.co.ukSHOW John Swannell; Andy Taylorwww.show.londonEditor: Gemma Klasmer Content Director: Lucy TeasdaleSkibo is published by Show Media Ltd.
