Unlike many firms that are converting cars to EV (electric vehicle), we havent gone down the route of using second-hand Tesla batteries, but have developed a base powertrain using brand-new battery modules and a single electric motor with an integrated inverter and its own bespoke control unit. Weve also used a special differential to improve traction, and incorporated separate cooling systems for the motor and the battery packs, with heat exchangers built into the cars rear bumper.The first car to receive the Everrati treatment was the 964 model of Porsches legendary 911 coupe. The car fairly blistered along the aforementioned drag strip of a runway outside Everrati HQ, leaving a standard 911 it was lined up against trailing in its wake.
