About the Team

Situated within an 8,000-acre estate, The Carnegie Club provides members and guests with an array of activities and events throughout the year. Our Transport team plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless travel across the estate and beyond.

Our shuttle service operates daily, transporting guests between key locations, including the castle, Clubhouse, Treehouse, spa, stables, and lodges, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. Additionally, the team provides airport and train station transfers across Scotland, allowing our members and guests to enjoy effortless arrivals and departures.

About this Role 

As a Driver you will: 

  • Provide transport services both on and off the estate, ensuring guests reach their destinations comfortably and safely.
  • Welcome members and guests upon arrival at airports and train stations, offering a warm greeting and assisting with luggage.
  • Operate the on-site shuttle service, ferrying guests between various estate locations throughout the day and evening.
  • Conduct half- and full-day private tours of the Scottish Highlands, showcasing local landmarks and scenic attractions.
  • Maintain the Club's fleet of SUVs and MPVs, ensuring vehicles are clean, fuelled, and well-presented at all times.
  • Oversee the electric golf buggies, ensuring they are fully charged and readily available for guests at the castle, lodges, and Clubhouse.
  • Support other departments by delivering take-out meals, transporting golf bags to the Clubhouse, and assisting with guest arrivals via helicopter.
  • Assist with the staff transport service, collecting and dropping off team members at various local locations.
  • Attend operational meetings to ensure seamless communication between departments and enhance the guest experience.

  • You're proactive, reliable, and take pride in your work to ensure every journey is seamless.
  • You're professional and well-presented, representing the Club with confidence and discretion.
  • You're a strong communicator who engages easily with guests and colleagues.
  • You're flexible and adaptable, comfortable working a variety of shifts to meet the Club's needs.
  • You're physically capable of lifting and carrying luggage, golf bags, and child seats.
  • You have a full, clean UK driving licence (an advanced driving qualification is a plus!).

Gratuities (tips) that are passed directly to staff are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of their role.
