Front of House at Skibo
Our Front of House team plays a crucial part in making the Carnegie Club the warm, friendly place that our members love to return to time and again. An integral part of this team, the Club Concierge welcomes guests to the castle, gets to know them and assists with their day-to-day needs. Crafting personalised, magical moments for our guests lies at the heart of the work that the team does, and they take pride in facilitating the making of lifelong memories on our estate.
About the role
- Our Club Concierge acts as the first point of contact between our members and guests throughout their arrival, stay, and departure.
- The team is responsible for providing the personalised service and attention to detail that we are known for by informing members and guests about Club amenities and exclusive experiences to ensure an exceptional stay.
- Greeting and assisting guests in a professional, friendly manner, you'll attend to and anticipate their immediate and long-term needs, always working to exceed their expectations.
- You'll oversee the check-in and check-out of individual guests, families, and larger parties, ensuring the highest levels of administration and attention to detail to ensure their stay is perfect.
- You'll allocate and show members and guests to their rooms and lodges, making note of any special requests and assisting with luggage, transportation and other errands
- You'll assist in special events, parties, and meetings, escorting individuals to applicable locations around the estate and rising to any challenge to make the days of our members and guests!
Who we are looking for
- With strong interpersonal and customer service skills, you're a confident, diligent individual who is passionate and knowledgeable about providing the very best hospitality.
- You thrive when problem solving and enjoy supporting and working alongside colleagues from across all departments to ensure that any requests are dealt with swiftly and to a high standard.
- You have confidence in all your dealings with people, be they colleagues, supervisors, members, or guests, and take a pro-active approach to your work.
- You have strong computer skills and are comfortable with general administration tasks.
- With the ability to stay calm under pressure, you're someone who can be relied upon to be the face of the Club.

About gratuities & service charge
- Gratuities (tips) and service charge (an additional charge added to room rates and other services at the Club that is passed directly to staff) are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of their role.
- It is estimated that in 2024, full-time staff can expect to receive around £4,000 in addition to their annual salary.
